Man today is reg day I guess... BUT I guess Ill be that guy again today ...sigh. North seal beach is a highly restricted place (with the Naval weapons station being there and all). You are also close to 2 busy airports. Not a very good idea to get caught with a drone there!

You are flying at what I am pretty sure is the Hotchkiss National fish hatchery. If you are not sorry BUT ..in your post you state that You are not sure whom it belongs too. If it is the Hatchery, You cant be there. Overflights of those areas can only be done at a minimum altitude of 1000 ft...

REMEMBER You must be able to have VISUAL contact with your drone. you must also be able to know the Drones orientation with the unaided eye... At 1 mile thats not possible. Sure your drone will fly 3 to 4 miles out ....BUT not legally.

My O.G. Mavics still fly perfectly! You can find batteries on Ebay for them....If you have the old Batteries KEEP THEM!! there are folks out there that can build you new ones! Make sure to update it and get yourself an R.I.D. module to strap to it and you should be good to fly! DO NOT throw that...

Thats how I discharge..With the Air2s, DJI included a little adapter that fits on the battery and lets you plug a usb device into it. I charge my phone and anything else with them to get back down to 60.

When I was doing security I would buy Batteries for my Air2s by the LOT I used this charger exclusively and the 4 I have are still going strong. I will tell you the proof about the way you treat Batteries is in the pudding..I keep all my batteries stored at 60% and charge them to 100 on the day...

Yep DJI confused the whole drone flying community with that one. Make sure DJI is talking about care refresh or ownership. In DJI speak they mean the same for some unknown reason... If the controller tells you it is bound to an account and you have no way of getting hold of the original owner...
