Correct: You do have side sensors mounted on the Drone but now they work in cooperation with the other sensors as an omnidirectional avoidance system. As the tech for these sensors has improved it is no longer necessary to give the side mounted...

Capt KO replied to the thread DJI America..Skydio has been forced to admit that the majority of their internals are coming from the same China suppliers as DJI. China only had to stop/delay parts shipments to the US to halt Skydio production, at least until they can source the same items...
