That is assuming you are in an area where you have cell service - if you do, you are fine, but if you don't you are kind of out of luck - I learned the hard way. -
Capt KO replied to the thread DJI Let me down and cheesed my melon.Don't always need to login to your home wifi, you can set up a wifi Hotspot in the field with your phone. Of course it helps if you fly with a different device than that phone.

Have you updated your FlySafe database? GEO has been removed and you should be able to self-authorize flying anywhere, whether legal to fly there or not.

It happened to me once a few years ago - I fly where I hike which almost never has cell service so I couldn't login and was pretty much stuck. Its on my checklist now to make sure I do a test flight at home if it has been a while since I flew...

Capt KO replied to the thread Should I even be flying this old Mavic Mini?.Like others here I'm jealous, last visit to Maine was pre-drone but remember the many places a drone would have shined. There's nothing wrong with your little bird except lack of use.
