Might be worth investigating if you can fix this in post? I personally don't know enough about it to advise but i would imagine it would be the sort of thing that video editing software could resolve pretty easily... Sorry OP just re-read and noticed your reasons for not wanting to rely on post...

Also, separate from the auto edited footage it seems there's some of my clips missing from in the DJI go4 app, but I can still get them when I upload/download the files to my laptop.
