I thought that was pretty common knowledge and stated quite clearly in the contract. Keeps people from claming they lost it then scavenging one for parts. If the harbor doesnt have crazy currents you may be able to pay someone to dive for it. Keep in mind unless you skinned it the darn things...

None of us want any more restrictions on drones than there already are from people doing dumb and illegal things (not to mention the possibility of killing hundreds of people) so people are cautious when people ask sketchy open ended questions. You could have a legit reason you could be a ********.

Use a cheaper drone with a hook and some claw machine skills to pull it down? Did it get reported to the FAA? Or is that only for 107 holders?

I have and like the smatree one for the mp2, built in rainfly and the built on go pro mounts are nice. The molded foam interior gives you a lot more protection than most packs. My biggest gripe is that it doesnt fit a 15" ultrabook which is pretty essential for on the go editing.

Ive had no issues with connection using an S8+ linked with a usb A to usb c cord. I get the mag interference warning when i take off near my car. It doesn't appear when launching away from vehicles/structures.

I run a 22" landing pad. Its a bit tricky in high wind but 22" vs 30" is so much easier to store when your bag space is at a premium.
