Be careful with Androids. I tried a FireHD 8 (not compatible) and a Galaxy Tab 8.0 32 GB (not compatible). I'm going to check this ONN at Wally World.

I haven't found a good tablet yet; but taking notes here. Ipad Mini2 and Nvidia Shield K1 I'll check out. I tried a Fire HD 8 (Fires not compatible) and a Galaxy Tab A 8.0 32 GB w/9.0 Pie (not compatible either). Good info here ~keep it coming. thanks.

My brain is toast; because of the OTG cable thing; but I'm trying to work through it. I'm trying to figure out what kind of cable is used from the Mini controller to a tablet. I need the longer cable ~ but I'm not real confident as how to order a longer one. I did check DJI.com but no joy. I...

Thanks for your help ~ it worked fine after I tried again and after your encouragement. I had already put it back in the case; figuring I wasn't going to be able to turn it on; because I was in a restricted area/zone.

It weirdly started up okay on my next try. I think Einstein was in a deep sleep.
