Can i take my drone to canada will there be any issue in the border

If you are planning on bringing a drone to Canada, the best drone to bring would be a sub 250 gram drone like the Mini 4 Pro or earlier. The Mini 5 Pro is not considered a sub 250 gram drone in Canada. For visitors to Canada the rules/requirements to fly a drone that is above 250g are...

What is the best small drone for backup

It also mentions that the Mini 4 Pro is compatible with the RC Pro 2 in the ‘Compatibility’ section, hence the reference to post # 7. The RC Pro is not compatible with the Mini 4 Pro. Chris

See post #7 where it says ‘Compatibility’. Chris

    Holiday Weather

We just finished more than 3 days of almost constant snow squalls and white out conditions. It was so bad that the city canceled all New Year’s eve events last night since none of the roads were able to be cleared. Even the road to the regional hospital wasn’t cleared and some counties outside...

What is the best small drone for backup

The Neo 2 is not compatible with the RC Pro 2 controller if that is the controller you intend to use with it. Chris

Mini 5 Pro Drone generated pano (21 images) vs Photoshop Pano (21 images)

I use the drone generated panos much like the camera preview on a DSLR and always stitch my panos from the individual RAW images and edit or tweak them in post. If I have enough battery and time, the drone generated pano is useful to see if the capture is what I wanted/expected before leaving...

Flying in winter: things to watch out for?

Nice shots especially the first one. Did you use an ND filter to slow the shutter speed to get the water blur? Chris

Flying in winter: things to watch out for?

Glad to hear you got it all sorted out and have got your controller back, likely a refurbished unit or a new one. We have been getting lots of snow which is great. I plan on getting out as soon as the heavy snowfall stops even though the current-12C temps are beyond DJIs specs. Chris

Flying in winter: things to watch out for?

I have used my previous RC1 in weather colder than it's rated -10ºC without any problems. I plan on using my RC2 which was acquired this past July with my Mini 4 Pro in temperatures that are colder than it's -10ºC rating. I don't expect any problems. I have an RC Pro that I use with my Mavic 3...

Flying in winter: things to watch out for?

Nice shot! Even though the drone might be rated for temperatures as low as -10ºC, I would think it could handle much colder temperatures as most DJI drones can as long as you take precautions. I don't have a Mavic 4 Pro so I wouldn't be able to find out and the temperatures here where I live...

Flying in winter: things to watch out for?

I'm not sure what would cause your screen to flicker. The temperature should not be affecting your controller as you were flying within it's spec's (-10ºC to 40ºC). As far as camera settings go whether you choose Auto ISO or you set your ISO, aperture and shutter speed manually is up to you and...

    Air 1 Anguilla...Caribbean Paradise

Just discovered your video. Was there long ago well before the digital age on a three week course. Beautiful place and safe. A destination for the rich and famous. Even though there are resorts that cater to the ultra wealthy located on the beautiful beaches every beach is a public beach so as...

    Air 3s Fall has arrived

Nice! Looks like colours are peaking in your neck of the woods. Many trees have lost their leaves in my area and most of the colour is now gone. Chris

Is the Mini 3 Pro worth buying in 2024?

I have flown both drones. I have not noticed any difference in flight stability. As far as image quality, there are a few improvements in the Mini 4 Pro, mostly software related but nothing major. I never used my Mini 3 Pro or my current Mini 4 Pro for ActiveTrack so can't comment on that...
