    3 Fall Colours

Ok, thanks for your feedback. I appreciate it. Sometimes HDR works but in this case not so much. Chris

    3 Fall Colours

Yeah, I'd tend to agree, probably due to combining the images into an HDR shot. I’ll take a look at the individual images and see if there's a better one. Here's a couple of more from the original 5 shot set (unedited). Are they any better? Chris

    Canadian Registration?

I’m not familiar with the US rules as they are bit different especially with RID. Others on here are more knowledgeable in that respect. Chris

    Canadian Registration?

I’m sure Transport Canada will eventually clarify the rules for the Mini 5 Pro. My hope is that they classify it as a micro drone when used with the regular batteries therefore not requiring registration or a license to fly it in Canada. Chris

    Canadian Registration?

Yes, if you choose to use the larger batteries you must register and obtain a Pilot’s licence, either Basic or Advanced. Chris

    Canadian Registration?

It will be interesting to see how Transport Canada classifies this drone. The current regulations are based on take off weight and if your drone weighs 250g or more then according to the regulations you are required to register your drone and have a Pilot's licence. Whether you choose to do that...

Flying in winter: things to watch out for?

Personally I have not used desiccant or put any of my camera equipment (drones or DSLRs) in plastic bags when coming in from the cold and I have been out on some very cold days/nights. All of my drones are in regular semi hard cases (not moisture proof) which I usually have in a backpack or...

Flying in winter: things to watch out for?

I fly year round and have flown in temperatures as cold as -23ºC. There are some members on here who have flown in even colder temps. Winter is one of the most beautiful seasons to fly in so don't be afraid to get out and fly keeping in mind some precautions. Here are some things that come to...

    3 Experimenting with Sunstars

Thanks! I do like the sunstar one but, I am going to experiment with multiple exposures next time exposing for the sunstar and then for the landscape to see if I can preserve the tree colours when I merge them. If I try to lighten the landscape in the sunstar image it introduces too much...

    3 Experimenting with Sunstars

Have been experimenting with sunstars on my Mavic 3 Pro. Here's two images taken last night. I like the Auto image better because I can see the fall colours of the trees that have begun to change but obviously no sunstar because the aperture is wide open. When I go out again, I might try taking...
