The best answer is probably that I underestimated the risk, particularly since it wasn’t windy at the shore. Also I am used to flying the Mavic 2 Zoom for which wind never was a problem. I certainly wouldn’t do it again and hope others learn from my mistake.

Another small tip from my side: make the video footage more interesting by separating foreground from background through movement. It creates some depth. It’s a tricky one to master but moving sideways while rotating, hence performing a smooth circle movement is a good technique to achieve this...
