Сan i bring my drone to vietnam?

My last visit was in January but I flew in and out of Saigon. No issues with my Mini4 and my NEO. Our bags weren't x-rayed this time, probably because it was right before Tet and I've never seen the airport so crowded. I've flown in and out of Hanoi with drones at least a dozen times over the...

Сan i bring my drone to vietnam?

You should be fine. Singapore is the first country to which I brought a drone. (P2V+ back in 2014.) The last time I brought a drone through Singapore was my Mini 3 Pro in May 2023. Still haven't ever flown there though.

Travel to Cambodia: Drones and laws

Yes. Actually the Army's reaction was bizarrre. They thought the camera was a GoPro and allowed me to remove it and kept only the Phantom 3 airframe, which was returned to me a few weeks later.

Around the world trip with drone

Taiwan - Taipei: Stealth. There's a park just south of Taipei 101. I flew my Mavic Platinum from a wooded area with a line of sight to Taipei 101. Not sure if I would risk it again today. Indonesia - Jakarta: police everywhere. Flew out by some water far from the city center. Nothing to rave...

Bringing a drone 249g into Nepal

We didn't stick around long enough to find out. I landed the drone and got out of there. The guy who took us to the rooftop was one of those touts trying to earn a buck. He saw my girl and I doing selfies and offered to take our pic for a dollar. I told him I'd give him $5 if he could show me...

Advice on how best to use classified Forum to sell Drone

It's a good idea to state the number of the batteries's charge cycles.

    Seriously? This is illegal?

Uniformity is the spice of life.

    Seriously? This is illegal?

Not sure if I want to admit it, but as a Marine sniper, at the time still in the reserves, I would patrol the neighborhood camouflaged, but unarmed, in a ghillie suit "for fun." My wife was horrified. "What if someone sees you?" "That's the point." Nobody ever saw me and I definitely had...

    Seriously? This is illegal?

A neighbor asked me to take a picture of her roof as well, but I was out of town. Perhaps I'm slicing it thin here, but Is every flight to look at a roof a "roof inspection," given that I am 100% unaffiliated with roofs except for the fact I live under one? The first sentence seems to imply...

    Seriously? This is illegal?

I guess it comes down to the legal definitions of recreational and commercial. Perhaps I recreationally wondered what my roof looked like after a hurricane.

    Seriously? This is illegal?

Greetings from Tampa FL. The night of Hurricane Milton was crazy. My windows were boarded up. The next morning my street, which has never flooded, was flooded and we had no electricity. There were roof shingles all over my driveway, lawn, and on my cars. I didn't know if they were from my own...

Chinese citizen uses drone to photograph US Navy shipyard

Google Earth shows my car in the driveway of the house I moved from 4 years ago. I reject the argument that satellites and Google Earth equal realtime intel.

Bringing a drone 249g into Nepal

Not sure how helpful (or stale) this information is, but I brought a Mini into Nepal in December 2019. We were visa-on-arrival and the passport control and customs were unorganized and took over an hour. Nobody was checking bags. There's a cafe at the Monkey Temple and I was given permission to...
