You can download the map offline on the fly or Go4 app while you still have wifi at home, or you can download off line maps on google maps (you have to control the size/location on the map with two fingers) but this does not mean you will have the maps on the fly or go4 app.
I have done many hyperlapses at night, and it never changed the minimum photo interval. In my opinion, it must have something to do with the amount of space left on the SD card (or lack of one). Is that a possibility OP ?
Especially in the sun, it keeps dimming during flight. I checked all settings and its not on automatic. Adaptive Brightness is off and Blue Light Filter is off, Brightness set to maximum. It's really annoying, in the middle of the flight it will just change to dim and even the brightness will...
The photos look fine once you click on them. 10mb. Only the thumbnail here is blurry, maybe you were looking at the thumbnail folder but posted the high rez pic? Not sure why the thumbnail here on the website is blurry, but once opened it looks good to me.

I did a test flight with that battery today, and everything worked normal. Still scared to use it though. I did find option to put voltage indicator on phone screen, that may or may not give me a warning before the instant 0% battery life error pops up.
You're saying 97% charge was not sufficient? It probably just lost a few percent over a day or two after being fully charged. That cannot be the problem here, it would seem.
Below is the screenshot video of the flight. The battery was one if three that got overheated in a car one time, but this particular battery was not bulged like the other 2 but probably still damaged from the event. As you can see, battery level goes from 96% to 0% instantly, after critical...
I am confused, what is the difference between battery life and charge state? When I press the button on the battery, the number of lights is showing how much the battery is charged, like 3 green lights mean about 75% charged. This is different from 'battery life?'
