Excellent!! - thank you... (not see this one before so apologies)
Sad outcome in the court.... surely the Judge should be held accountable for ignoring physical and technical evidence? - looks like he the got let off free?
Absolutely, I couldn't agree more... the shooter seemed a bit of a Tackleberry character (Police Academy reference), the kind of guy that lives with his finger on the trigger waiting for an opportunity to use his weapon.... he even says there was gonna be another shooting if they crossed my...
Just saw this on youtube and remembered this post.... looks like you will be arrested in one place at least.... and then face charges.
To be fair it sounds as if the drone pilot was not behaving very well ... loitering and then returning... dunno if this did or did not have anything to do...
Depends if the First world countries are trying to keep a beady eye on those third world countries... as soon as they start trouble you suddenly you fine GPS/GLONAS and the satelite imagery seems to be so much better... ;-)
Yep I agree... I wonder why they don't do a camouflage version of the wrap!
*** EDIT - Oh I have just seen they do! Different company than what I saw earlier!
The incorrect homepoint has been the cause of a few sad drone mishaps lately.... when flynig indoors ALWAYS reset your disconnect or low battery action to "hover"
Think the first point to consider is what country you are in.
In the UK, to own and operate a firearm you need a FAC, shooting is strictly controlled and you will almost definitely lose your license if you discharge your fire arm into the air and especially if that is at someone else's property...
Gotta love a good South African search party.... well done guys... what an awesome end to a sad story...

You are very lucky it was not found by the wrong guy.
Glad you got your baby back boet!
Different countries have different drone laws... some none at all... height restriction can be disabled in the app... saw a guy on Youtube do a 14km return flight (7km each way) at 435m (+- 1200 feet) but in the middle east somewhere...
Hi all...
I received my Mavic Pro 2 days ago but due to AMC (adverse meteorological conditions) here in London all I have managed is a few indoor hover-flights (I have prop-guards)
Looking forward to this drone so-much...
