    a cursory google search yields the following: LTE can utilise both FDD - frequency division duplex and TDD - time division duplex, often referred to as TD-LTE. There is only one model made by DJI for consumer drones that I'm aware of.

    It's not just network compatibility, it's DJI allowing access to their server, this is what routes the controller to the device over the internet. I can get the dongle to connect to the internet, I just can't get it to control my drone in Aus.
