It actually is quite difficult to stop the update but apparently if you tether off your phone it won't update but when you are back home on wifi it will in spite of settings in tablet (mine is Huawei mediapad 8.4) and app .
Personally I would like the choice to upgrade when I want not have it forced upon me by DJI at the moment before takeoff. I rolled back to 1.4.0 as when I flew with 1.4.8 DJI Fly crashed . Maybe just a coincidence.
If there is nothing for the mini 2, (my machine), they are only putting stuff for other models and bloating the app. I'll bid my time as the present version works fine for me.
When you say 0% I take it you mean the level at which the battery smart system cuts out to protect the battery? This would not be when the battery is flat ie 0V but at the level the manufacturer has set to avoid damage to the battery. If left at this state presumably it would then slowly self...
For my part I only fully charge just before use. After use I like them to be below 70% and will discharge them to that if necessary after flying. If going on an Air plane then maybe 30% depending on carriers rules. These batteries have large demands put on them and need to use all possible...
I made up this from 1.5mm ss welding rod and it holds my 8" tablet firmly
Hi I made up a wire clip. See Wire clip for tablet in mini hardware mods. It works well for me. more secure than the skyreat tablet holder.
I tried it out today at 120m ht right above and signal the remote indicated was fine. Not tried long distance but I'm not one to test the limits. I've made a neater one now, ss welding rods are very useful.
