I have had a couple of mavics and the last one lost control from 75 yds away and decided to try to land on a river, and I flew it into the bank just to get the drone back total busted up loss, BUT I have state farm drone insurance and they bought me a new one no questions asked for 55$ a year...

Did you check the K-index monitor ? I have been told it will shut down your gps if it is high enough, look for the app and check the timeline when you lost control, if it is above 5or 6 this may be the problem

I agree with skypros, I bought 2 cheap drones to prepare for the mavic and all they did was piss me off, the mavic is the best drone to start out on especially with the refresh program, I is so easy to fly and if you crash it is a small fee to replace.

Does anyone use the cheap antenna reflectors the sell on ebay?

did you get the DJI filters or other brands I heard they may be too heavy for the gimble motor, I bought the dji filters which are a lot lighter but hopefully as good in quality?

did you order the package with the fpv goggles? I cancelled that order and got the one without the goggles much sooner
