I wish knew this BEFORE I bought an Ipad mini 2 and Autopilot.... attempted a waypoint mission today despite the warning that they were experiencing glitches... and the craft wouldn't auto take off, so I took off for it. then as it was making it's way to the starting point it was traveling...
Sounds like a great area, that's right outside the 5 mile radius of Love Field Airport. Flew there myself and did a lap around the big ball.

The video above, Apparently, after many emails back and forth DJI decided the battery error was their fault and they are replacing his Mavic. good for him.

Well I was more asking questions than being dogmatic about injuries... Thankfully there was no death and glad an actual piloted aircraft wasn't involved then the injury would have been much more severe. And the stats that were quoted were from the beginning of time up until 2015
You stated dogmatically that you (a pilot) strictly obey the rules because you care about lives. That's great! I suppose going 401 feet in the air is going to cause a plethora of deaths and should be avoided... Oh wait! No...... and no I don't agree with the FAA regulations and they know it's...
So on this link it has the statement several times, "Includes a LED light so you know when to connect the aux batteries" so you can't connect these aux batteries with a fully charged DJI battery? Please excuse my ignorance.

Out of curiosity, how many airplane pilot errors have caused death and how many drone accidents have caused death? Is this even comparable... And out of extreme curiosity, has there been a drone related fatality? Even while it was an unregulated hobby?

I could be totally mistaken (noob here) but the rings around the helipads are closer to the correct 5 mile regulation distance, I'm thinking the one showing around DFW is a different airspace requirement. Please correct me if I am wrong.
