CThat time should be coming soon, as US tariffs will be significantly reduced tomorrow, returning closer to 2024 levels.

Skids are OK, (unless they take your drone over a weight limit you need to stick to) but mostly rendered unnecessary if you have a landing pad, which evens out most typical surfaces enough so that camera calibration doesn't hit the ground.
