    "I'd have to be real careful crossing the runway" Why would you fly anywhere near a runway of even a small airport? At least it will let you takeoff, then fly away from the airport. Anything else is just irresponsible.

    I’ve owned drones since 2016 and yes I fly them, in that I normally rarely use the various quickshot offers or even RTH. No, I’ve never ever used waypoints so wouldn’t be aware of problems with them.

    Maybe you didn't get the details right? DJI has had 1" sensors in drones since 2016 and the Mavic 2 pro had one in 2018. The Mavic 3 and Mavic 4 have had 4/3 sensors for a couple of years now .. that's almost twice the size of the 1 inch sensor...
