Are you using a sim designed for aerial usage. Here in the uk to get the best reception you need the right sim otherwise the tower the drone will select is not optimum and can often be worse than just using the o4 connection.

Until the new rules are announced there’s no guarantee that a2cofc will be of any use come 1 Jan 2026. Article 16 reduces you to 30m in non residential areas but you do have to do a risk assessment per flight. It’s not required to write it down though.

Yep. I fired up my old smart controller the other day. First time in 10 months and no issue with the time there.

Mine does this all the time too. There’s numerous threads on the DJI forum and all DJI say is to connect the goggles to a phone and start the fly app to fix the time.

I’ve been asked to power on the drone before so they could check the batteries had power.

Did you do the manual file copy part? I’ve never had to do it before but perhaps this time it is needed? did you also do the manual steps for copying files they added to the instructions? I’ve never needed to before but maybe this time it’s important.
