Interesting, it's very noticeable for me when you really push the shadows. The P4P was a fine grain, the M2P just fell apart. I had both my photographer friend and my girlfriend look without knowing which was which and they both picked the P4P as better in seconds on multiple images. Of course...
It's really only when you are shooting in high key conditions. In many cases it's just fine and comparable. I am really loving it overall and usable images most of the time for sure.
I found them to be pretty comparable in good light. In some ways the M2P may even beat the P4P. I was really happy after my first test which was in even light. It was only when the conditions where tough (lol, aka really great) and I had to bring the shadows way back up that the differences...
