Just a follow-up for me, at least. If I put the phone in airplane mode everything works all the time.

I did lots of reading and put my Samsumg S9 into airplane mode. It worked better, but not perfect. I still had to restart the RC in mid flight once. ...but after that, 15 minutes with no problem. Will test again as soon as I can.. ..but I suspect the fast charging circuitry/software is also...

Putting my Samsung S9 into airplane mode definitely improved the situation! Not completed solved yet.

I came here to pile on, and your thought about fast charging got me trying to remember all my symptoms. It includes warnings about the battery discharging faster than it can charge, a slow charger, and such. I wonder if there's a way to turn all that charging off?

Problem?/ The RC won't stay connected to either my phone or the drone. I started having this problem about a week ago. Either the RC loses connection and it goes into RTH mode and/or the RC loses connection with the phone. I also watched the phone show that USB was connected and not and...

I don't want to come across critical, but if you plan in doing your own repairs you should buy a set. More importantly, it very likely not the board at issue. Something happened to incorrectly position the gimbal itself that you may be able to resolve.

I'm new here, but I've already had two Mavic Pro's, neither had that problem (yes, have the same clip). Does your vibration board float freely? Maybe one of the corners is stuck underneath something.
