Have you ever experienced a crash / collision / complete loss of control of your Mavic? If so, why did it happen? Did it survive?

Thanks for all the input including complete novices (myself included) and captains that had served 40+ years in aviation. I feel we have all digressed and this post has got way out of hand now with different subjects such as birds, helicopters, cars, busses, signal jammers... Thank you all...

Ouch... I guess there is always a matter of chance for these things to happen! But scary to see how quickly a bird can bring an F-16 down!

Anyone with some knowledge here want to explain how the sensors work on the Mavic Pro? Do they all work the same? The ones on the front operate the same as the ones on the bottom?

I know there’s been a story I think in California of the first drone to take down a helicopter... is it just a matter of time before a catastrophe happens? Or is the aviation technology already ahead of fatal bird strikes etc? When humans are involved there is always a chance of error I guess...

The thing is, if you fly over a built up area - 50m or 150m if the drone falls out of the sky it’s still going to do a lot of damage... to the drone and possibly people or property

Built up areas tend to have some high risers... but it’s all a big grey area over here in the UK!

Not a total novice but big upgrade from my previous phantom 3 advanced drone!
