I keep them out in the open, as they will get very warm if they’re discharging in an enclosed container or in foam padded cells inside a case of some sort. And don’t let them discharge packed touching against each other.

I manually discharge to 60% if I haven’t used the fully charged battery after 2 days I use to hubs to charge other devices so that drains the battery to storage level for me as needed..
