Well, lol...I only had my Mavic for a little over a month, and I crashed it and totaled it out. Completely my fault, btw. Didn't notice the placement of the high rise power lines above where i was filming and pressed return to home when I was done. Not a pretty sight. But I ordered a new one...

I'm new to flying. I bought the mavic pro last week. I have flown it every day, and have had no issues. The firmware update was extremely easy, and I'm having a blast with this small beast. I did lose signal once and was worried, but she came home all by herself to my amazement. I just won't fly...

It's Japanese made software, so your PC may ask about it, but it's safe. I had to install it as well. It's like .net software... we don't know what it's for, but many things need it.
