I have just ordered that strobe too. I was going to use women's clear hair bands to hold it on. Tiny clear elastic bands effectively. But your idea is brilliant. I may have to look into this a bit more.

Completely agree with you, as it should be in sight all of the time, but knowing how to bring the drone home with the screen as an aid (Map/Compass alone) for me is a must. You should never have a drone out of sight, but the mavic mini its lovely shade of what would we call it, cloud grey...
