The GPS chips in most of the DJI drones are not accurate enough to avoid these mismatches. The only way to make improvements is in post by making corrections in all 3 dimensions (x, y, and zoom).
The video editors allow you to combine multiple images in to a single composite video which you export. While in the editor, you can animate each layer separately to create anything you want. It is not automatic, and require some training for you before you will be successful.
You are much better off learning how to adjust the color to your taste in post processing. LUTS assume too much about what exposures and shooting conditions to be very useful to me.
It is a hard limit set by Microsoft’s FAT file format that DJI continues to use. Using exFAT would allow much longer files to be recorded. Why DJI has not changed to this newer format is a mystery to me. It has been this way since the early Phantoms.
GPS location will never be perfect. The spec for a well functioning civilian system is +- 16 ft, 95% of the time. The satellites are not in geosynchronous orbit, so the drone swaps in new ones and swaps out the old ones as needed. In addition, the satellites and the drone net to have clear...
No. RAW is the raw sensor data with no attempt to interpret it via software. D-log footage is processed sensor data with the processing taking the raw sensor data and using a logarithmic curve to it to provide better digital gradation in the dark areas of the image.
There is no “beter” in this. It depends on how you want to structure your work flow, and what your final deliverable is. HLG is targeted at deliverables to HDR TVs capable and calibrated to that standard.
D-Log is a more general format designed to capture pixels better distributed for grading...
There is sometimes metal under asphalt as well, as metal braces under wooden decks. The only safe procedure is the one mentioned above - verifying that the drone’s compass lines up with it’s actual direction.
