Update: It is alive! Glue surgery was able to repair the broken arm. I did a full imu and compass calibration, and then put back up. Horizon is back to dead even on hover and returns level after pitching. Also it successfully hovered in place for 80% discharge of 2 other batteries...

Op here. All, thank you for this insightful analysis. To clarify, it was another poster who mentioned a battery replacement from dji. I have not contacted dji yet. I believe I am out of warranty, but will try.
