Don't blame you. Pretty much every big city downtown is built on flat land and has several buildings taller than 400 feet which is easy. Yet how many recreational flyer post their videos looking down on every single building in the downtown...
I'm looking at them for commercial use. I agree about terrain follow. The price of Maven and Litchi are both reasonable enough i just may get both and use the more appropriate one, depending on the circumstances.
The one thing that impresses me every time with Litchi is the 'terrain follow' for waypoint surveys - the single huge advantage... but everyday use? you'd have to walk a farmyard mile to equal GO4 and I really doubt it will ever be bettered.
That's only for Part 107 flights as set out in 107.51. It is not part of the recreational exemption, 49 U.S. Code § 44809, which has a hard limit of 400 ft above ground level.
