Getting weird colors on Mavic Air 3s

That may be color noise due to the demosaicing algorithm which turns the quad bayer sensors in these drones into a traditional bayer sensor. Color noise reduction algorithms such as the one in Lightroom should do a good job at removing it.

    Have you seen this idiot

    He was clearly being sarcastic.

    What would cause this...

My hyperlapses are rock solid as well, both on my Air 3 and my Air 3S. I’ve taken hyperlapse in the day, at night, facing the sunrise/sunset etc. so it’s very interesting indeed.

Firmware update every time I turn the controller and drone on

This is the most likely cause of OP’s issue. Same thing happened to me with this latest update. With different batteries, the update started at 70% and finished quickly. It is updating all the batteries to the latest version.

    Air3S Buffering?

That’s correct. Here is a copy the specs of the Air 3S: Still Photography Modes Wide-Angle Camera Single Shot: 12 MP and 50 MP Burst Shooting: 12 MP, 3/5/7 frames; 50 MP, 3/5 frames Automatic Exposure Bracketing (AEB): 12 MP, 3/5/7 frames; 50 MP, 3/5 frames at 0.7 EV step Medium Tele Camera...

    Air3S Buffering?

It shoots the burst instantly and then there is a delay as it processes and stores the files. Yes you can shoot up to 5 AEB imagines using RAW (7 when shooting JPEG).

    Air3S Buffering?

You can shoot burst in RAW.

    Air3S Buffering?

Totally normal when shooting 50MP/48MP mode.

will the Air 3s ever get night mode ?

    Billy Kyle is a shill.

Question: Does the 3S support AEB (bracketed) panoramas

That’s correct. It is a separate setting and is located in the section where you normally choose the resolution, annd is only available after you enter the Free Panorama shooting mode. Also, changing the resolution or using AEB is not available in the other panorama shooting modes, only Free...

    Aspect ratios.

I did not know DJI released a drone with 3:2 aspect ratio in the past! All current drones by DJI are 4:3.

    Aspect ratios.

I can both understand and sympathize with this as an amateur photographer. Almost all “bigger” digital sensors take the film ratio of 3:2. As far as I know, in the “professional digital camera” segment, only micro four-thirds sensors use 4:3. Unfortunately, almost all other smaller sensors...

Air 3S added to Adobe Camera Raw

That’s great news! I will certainly test this this week!

Air 3s USB-C to HDMI with RC2 Remote

Yea, the RC2 does put out a video signal through the USB-C port and any USB-C to HDMI adapter should work. I have a basic Anker adapter which works great. Keep in mind though that the maximum transmission resolution from the drone to the RC2 is 1080p60, so even though the HDMI signal from the...

    Air 3S - Wondering why I upgraded.

By your logic, the Air 3S has higher bitrate. The algorithm is 30% more efficient with the same quality. Doing some basic math shows that the Air 3S bit rate is not only similar to, but even higher than, the current Air 3 bitrate, when accounting the efficiency. Now, how much you wish to...
