I'm not sure how the camera performs as I haven't flown in too low of light, but I filmed a sunset and had no issues. I do know that if there's not enough light, the sensors warn they may not be able to detect collisions

I found the logs, but I'm not entirely sure what to make of them. I see the motor obstructed error, but the altitude never changes during it's fall. DJI Flight Log Viewer - PhantomHelp.com Hopefully that link works for you
