Has anyone been able to change the homepoint to your device so that you can fly more than 80m . Or does every phone get the same error?

That is the proper way to use it on Wi-Fi so that it doesn't stop following after 80m. The app just isn't working properly

A tip, from what I gather, you cannot run one app if the other is running in the background. Best to pick only 1 dji go app. I chose DJIGO4.

Just to confirm, you have put the mavics switch to Wi-Fi, and used follow me on an iPhone 6s plus and switched the homepoint to the man (green arrow in uploaded pic) instead of the take off point and you were able to have it follow you more than 80m from take off?

For now, don't use the short cable, use your phones charging cable and plug it into the bottom of the RC

I've been emailing with DJI app support. Been 2 weeks and about 5 emails and they are still asking me, can you explain the issue. Thus was a major reason I returned my bebop 2 and got the mavic. So contact DJI. Please. Speak up!

It's gone. You can use active track but it has an app error that doesn't let you set your phone as home point, so you're stuck only flying 80m from take off

I had a bad cable that couldn't keep a connection. Try plugging in through the bottom port of the RC wth your full size cable just to rule that out

I used it once with Wi-Fi and it worked great but is limited to 80m from take off point because there is an issue with the app that doesn't let you pick your phone as the homepoint

Definitely doesn't work without the RC, so how do you do it?

Would you mind, setting your MP to Wi-Fi, taking off, then setting the home point to not be takeoff location. Remoteless of course. If your MP has no issues then this would be a great test.
