Yes you can but good luck getting re-insured after a claim and it can also impact your insurance overall. I'm referring to a hull policy add-on to my $1M liability policy through FNIC. Totally separate from any personal insurance.

You can buy them at a number of places and insure them through FNIC for $300 and a $300 deductible (insured value of $3000).

Totally agree and thanks to all that contribute! I probably have 600+ hrs but that doesnt make me or anyone immune to incidents like this. I have flown in precip before but it didnt even think of frozen fog and what it could do. Fortunately, I have hull insurance through FNIC so will be replaced...

I have hull insurance (normally would use Refresh), and it was $240/year + $300 deductible for full replacement. It's on the same account as my $1M liability policy. I would advise against a cheap way out via SF (or any basic personal items policy) unless you're ok with being cancelled.

Picked up the creator combo a few days ago, and I have to be doing something wrong. The RC Pro 2 fits in the front left section of the 2-section divider but it is a bear to get out. Am I missing something?
