    Any Scots? Check in here

Hi John, mother nature has not been kind lately but welcome. The west coast of Scotland must be the wettest and windiest in Europe. Can't honestly remember when I Iast flew. It's raining as I type. Your as welcome as the sun.

Ok, so who gives their drones names?

Update new Mavic 2 Pro, Named it Boras. No not after the prime minister. It's named about my present state of affairs. It's short for Borasic lint (rhymeing term for skint).

Ok, so who gives their drones names?

1 sliced artery, 3 stitches later = Killer.

Firmware Update failed 95% can't connect anymore - version unknown

Sounds like the firmware is corrupt. I would like to think DJI should sort it out for you.

Any west of scotland flyers out there ?

Hi, I am an old man who lives in Ayrshire who flies a Mavic 2 Pro and a few other DJI drones. I too am wondering too of any drone flying clubs around these parts. Seems to be only aeroplanes and the likes.

DJI Mavic 2 Active Track 2.0 refuses to allow manual height adjustment increases thus causing a crash that could have been avoided

Agree with apeel entirely. It is mindless flying near traffic or any built up areas. People like you give drone haters the ammunition to fire.

How Long Can You Leave A Battery Charged At 100%

I have a multiple selection of li-po's rangeing from 1s to 6s and keeping them at 3.85v per cell. Checking them every 2-3 months. Some are up to 6 years old. In total about over 30 batteries and I haven't came across a swollen cell yet. I guess I will keep on doing what I'm doing.

Lost drone trying to RTH - 'max power load reached' issue

Sorry to all who have lost or crashed their MM's. My thoughts on the matter is size and power matters when it comes to air currents. I'm sure DJI will iron out any shortfalls on their firmware. I own 2 x S900's and a Mavic 2 Pro. When it comes to wind being gusty I tend to refrain from flying...

    How precise is your RTH?

Totally agree ! Mavic has not missed the mat yet.

    Drone caught in grass.

Anything portable that is flat and rigid, a piece hard board or even cardboard at a push.

    Drone caught in grass.

Purchase a landing mat, that will take away the stress of props getting caught.

A sad story with DJI Tech Service

I am more aquainted with motherboards in pc's. With a motherboard if it was contaminated with an oily substance it would be cleaned with a soft brush and either a waterbased or spirit based motherboard cleaner (available online) then rinsed with lukewarm water (with the bios battery removed and...
