2006 Yamaha FJR1300. The bike is the reason I went for the Mavic Air. I had a Phantom 3 Pro, that I made a case for that fit inside the top box. But it took up the entire top box and that was only if it was closed correctly. Even on site, it was inconvenient. The Mavic Air is much easier.
Where in the southwest? Any interesting places where you live to fly? Next time you're up near the Silver Lake area, check out Cherry Point Farms. They have a neat arrangement of flowers called the Labyrinth that makes for a cool drone picture.
I enjoy flying. A lot of times I feel like I get some good video and photo. It just leads to disappointment after I'm flying because I didn't capture what I had pictured in my head. It is a rare chance to get out and fly so a lot of the disappointment stems from lack of practice and time I'm...
Took me 4 trips up here to finally fly. Really wish I could have gone up earlier when the lavender was in bloom. The winds were gusting about 25 MPH. I've not flown in that high of winds, but I figure for still images only, I'd be OK. Mavic Air handled it like a champ. I was still...

I'm bored of the one nearby location I can fly, but that can't be an...

I fear we have already reached a point where public perception will never be in our favor.
My thinking is that the strict regulations are only going to make more pilots ignorant or ignore them all together. The range of the drones and lack of understanding from law enforcement officials make...
OK, that was the issue. I do have another question. Do I need to do the RC pairing (holding the Pause, Fn, and C button) every time I switch back and forth? The answer I found was yes, but that seems unnecessary. Am I doing something wrong?
