Don’t use it. Keep it offline even if you thought it returned to normal. You don’t need blackouts or brownouts at altitude. Batteries are cheap vs. personal or property damage.
Watch the wind direction, speed and your craft’s battery. Find an alternative landing area in case the wind is too strong at altitude. Expect wind gusts near cliffs.
I flew over a patch of trees and a huge flock of birds chased my Mavic. I popped it in Sports Mode, but they were able to catch up. I had to climb out to shake them off of me.
I like the all in one device. It’s a shame that DJI didn’t make the smart controller compatible with Mavic 1. Quick deployment is key to getting the shot. I’ve had my phone die during cold weather. Luckily Mavic Pro has a display on the remote. :)
My confidence in the tech grew after watching “coptertube” videos on YouTube. He flew in windy conditions over the ocean to get shots of cruise ships leaving port.
Think like this: if it crashes over water, no one gets hurt. :) flying over buildings and people is risky.
