20th June '25. IS THIS FOR 'My Profile'?
New to this Club & Site. Whilst searching, stumbled on to this page. Looks like I fly an 'Avatar' = NO but a S/H Mavic Mini SE. Am not Computer or Phone very 'literate'. Is there a simple, for this your Site, an explanation as to where to find things a path to each place for Profile, Questions . Help etc? A Path INDEX to --- maybe?
Anyway here is my pre-prepared 'Profile' Copied & now pasted in:-
MAVIC MINI CLUB PROFILE -01 19th June 2025.

Name: Leo Kirk. Pseudonym: ‘Dinosaur’

Resident: Durban North, South Africa.

Drone: Mavic Mini SE bought S/H 2022

Age: 91 years. I describe myself as “Retired & Retarded”!

Health: Now very Slow. Wheelchair bound. Poor co-ordination between

Left & Right hands & Brain! So a very nervous Drone flyer

Widowed: We were very happily married for 54 years but my wife Polly

(younger & fitter than me) passed away in 2017 – now 8 years ago.

Now Me:- A poor cook with a microwave !

Children: x 2. Am living in the Granny Flat next to my daughter who very

kindly keeps an eye on me – some meals, some shopping etc.

Hobbies & Interests: NOW restricted to mainly Photography Still & Video

(Purely for Fun Amateur Level!)

Phone/Computers – mainly Illiterate so ‘Challenges’. I just want them to do a job!

Used to be DIY House & Home maintenance incl Generator/Water Tanks etc.

Used to be Travel (flown around the world twice).

Have worked in UK on & off, Germany ( UK Army- National Service 1953-54) NZ (1957), Cyprus (1960), SA (1961 on & off), Canada (1986).

Holidayed in : UK, Western Europe, Cyprus, NZ, USA, Middle East, Canada,

Northern Spain, SA, etc. Visited both Victoria Falls & Niagra Falls.

Motoring: Gave up driving & car 2 1/2 years ago.

Owned &/or driven over 30 different Cars from an Isetta Bubble to a Vintage Bentley, several Scooters & Motorbikes (49cc to 400cc). x3 Disabled Scooters 2 of which were 2-wheeled that I developed from original standard Scooters. Passed 14 Driving Tests as am ‘Disabled’. Was at one time, the youngest disabled Member of the UK IAM.
Could write a lot more but ?

Would like to ‘Talk’ to other Mavic Mini Members. Wonderful if we could meet. SA is a long way from 'anywhere'!

Live on a day to day basis but with a SMILE! Leo.
