    Brightness of the screen

The relationship with Apple isn't the most important aspect of DJI's business plan. Today DJI support advised that iPhone 7 and 7+ with the Intel chipset are being removed from list of supported devices for Follow Me function.

    Brightness of the screen

DJI's big announcement is on April 23rd, i believe at the Wynn hotel, Chairman's Lounge at 4:30pm. They are located in the north side of the Central Hall booth C2807 right beside GoPro. As for the price of CrystalSky, we know this: The Phantom 4 Advanced, without CrystalSky is $300 less than...

    Brightness of the screen

One thing i've noticed about DJI is how swiftly they can move and also introduce new products. And they've been learning (a lot) from their connection to Apple. Flyaways, crashes, and bugginess of all nature is a big drain on their resources and negatively affecting profits. So imagine that you...

Ottawa toughens rules for operating recreational drones

When Canada feds eventually come out with rules (these current regs are just a stop-gap measure) expect a training & licensing regime to be created. Insurance will be mandatory. The where and how might loosen up some from there.

    Brightness of the screen

Trust me...When I know, you'll know! DJI received FCC clearance for both sizes of CrystalSky in the last two weeks which clears them for sale in USA. I wouldn't be surprised if they launch at the same time as DJI Goggles, which could be very soon.

    Brightness of the screen

The standard version of the 5.5" and 7.85" CrystalSky are 1000 cd/m2 brightness....which is 2x that of an iPad mini 4. The UltraBright version of the CrystalSky has 2000 cd/m2 brightness....over 4x the brightness of an iPad mini 4.

    Crystalsky and goggles!!!!!!

The 5.5" CrystalSky received it's FCC clearance certificate on April 2nd, 2017 and is now approved for sale in USA. I fully expect an April release but nothing surprises me anymore :)

What Happened To The Mavic S Thread?

Until yesterday there was an active thread entitled "dji mavic standard may make an appearance" that was continuing as community members discussed the Mavic S intel. We've seen the pics, fcc filings and manuals in this thread so i'm curious as to why it was removed?

    Fake or not.

Post #8 above has the original link to the original photo that was photoshopped.

    Fake or not.

I can see it, and it's terrifying.

New DJI Spark / Mavic Mini sneak peek!

Just to add a little more drama to this new "Spark" story....the pics and formation was originally released on the internet by a Chinese blogger at www.sb-dji.com. That site appears to have been primarily set up to challenge DJI about poor consumer practices, deleting posts by people reporting...

New DJI Spark / Mavic Mini sneak peek!

Yes, leaked test photo by a Chinese blogger. Nothing here in USA yet though. Learned a really funny bit of Chinese drone slang from him: in China they refer to crash / disabled / flamed-out drones as "fried chickens". Anyway, this DJI Spark is tiiiiiiny! Front motor to back motor is shorter...

DJI Marketing Dept Really Needs To Stop The Crap.

We're not really recommending the DJI ND filters either. There's better ones out there.

Drones Are Saving One Life Per Week, DJI Study Finds

Your post couldn't be more timely. Given the earth-shifting regulations that just hit Canada, and the lust in the press to parade any nuisance behavior with a drone as the end of days, we need all the positive sharing possible. Which is why we made an editorial decision this morning to...

Ottawa toughens rules for operating recreational drones

Birdman i totally agree that the 'contagion' these Canadian rules may have to other jurisdictions is one of the scary things right now. Blucenturion, Canadian politicians have never been in the business or repealing their own (or any other politicians) regulations. The fact that they...
