It would be interesting to compare the subsidies aimed at the green energy industry with the subsidies enjoyed by the oil and gas industries since...forever.

But there has been improvement in bringing manufacturing of those sectors to the US. Isn't that the strategy? Unlike the fossil fuel industry that needs no subsidy, yet has been raking it in for decades.
