Every cent of that was paid by US importers and (indirectly) by US consumers. That's how tariffs work. They are just an import tax. How is that a good thing? -

Such a shame... if it genuinely was all about 'evil empires' and transistorised terrorism: you might understand some of the reasoning... and (to a degree) accept sensible restrictions, but reading through the McCarthyist paranoia and frothy...

If that was true, wind farms wouldn't be built in the numbers they are all over the world. Tariffs are a tax paid by importers and passed on to consumers in the country levying the tariffs. The USA isn't going to receive a cent in tariffs from...
