For a cheap, easy, quick, and basic (it has enough features to make good videos but it's very easy to use and does everything nice and quick) video editor, I use "Filmora" by "WonderShare"

I love taking/sharing shots and seeing shots that others have to with their drones. Is there anywhere on this site dedicated to that? If not, It would be awesome if there was a place on here specifically for posting videos and photos from flights.
So according to what i see on the FAA site you don't need to register unless you don't meet the criteria of the "Special Rule for Model Aircraft".
Per the site "You don't need permission from the FAA to fly your UAS under the Special Rule for Model Aircraft, but you must always fly safely...

Like some previous comments mentioned i would go with a car power inverter. There are a ton of them on amazon and the two that i have below are both under $30 and have hundreds/thousands of positive reviews (I personally have the $16 one and it works great)...
Im not that familiar with the iPad models but does yours have 3g/4g?

Yea my Mavic out of the box records to the phone and the SD card as its standard method. Although the phone recording is 720p and the SD is 1080p. As for transferring, taking the SD card out would be much faster.
