TriplTek 8 Pro - Poor video performance

Dont apologize MasterAngler... comparisons should be welcome. Did you offend somebody? I see the massive 2600nits on a 7" 1920x1080 FHD display and only 128GB storage, so a brighter display on a smaller display with lower resolution (2million pixels). PS... the TriplTek also has SIM card option...

TriplTek 8 Pro - Poor video performance

Shame the display is only 7" 1920*1080. Does the GPU have H.265/HEVC encoder/decoder? Also, how smooth does it play 4K/30FPS video encoded with H.265?

How long can you fly mini 3?

I have 2x plus batteries and each one provides 30mins flight when landing at 20% battery level. I use one battery and my son uses the other, so 1hour back2back, happy times 😁 If things get too hot, then climb to 3000meters where the air is cooler - lol 😂

    M3Pro H264 vs H265 file sizes identical

You are welcome to enquire with DJI support on this matter. I see nowhere with such options, so my expectation is NO.

    M3Pro H264 vs H265 file sizes identical

DJI Support have responded to me with the following: DJI Mini 3 Pro was designed with almost the same bit rate configuration under H.265 encoding and H.264 encoding, therefore, the size of the two recorded videos under H.265 encoding and H.264 encoding is almost the same. The same bit rate...

    TriplTek 8 - disappointed

TriplTek support have explained that the H.265 codec on the TriplTek 8 Pro has been disabled as a precaution to prevent overheating. Interestingly, the display on the TriplTek 8 Pro is the same as on the TriplTek 9 Pro, both are 2560x1600 (4millon pixels), which is known as Quad HD or QHD or...

TriplTek 9 Pro - screen specifications and video playback performance

Straight from TriplTek support:- The TRIPLTEK 9 display has a resolution of 2560x1600 and it is equipped with a 4K camera, although the new Hyper-Engine GPU can handle 4K at 60 frames keeping the system at safe temperature ranges all the time. So, if you are buying the TRIPLTEK 9 Pro and...

Three Month Review Tripltek 8 Pro

Well, the device is not locked to Android 10 persay, it's just that TriplTek have not provided an OS update for the T8 this far. Like all other Android devices, the vendor has to customize the Android OS for it's device then make it available. Samsung are way more active on that front. I have...

Three Month Review Tripltek 8 Pro

Sir, to suppress the Android updates which by the way would be app updates and security updates all you need to do is go into the Google settings on your tablet and set the updates to not auto download. This is the same for any Android device. See attached screenshot. Then all you do is check...

Three Month Review Tripltek 8 Pro

Bruthas I have found that playback of 4K 30fps video on the Tripltek 8 Pro is quite poor. I am talking about 8bit (not 10bit). With standard H.264 video there is a fare amount of choppiness. Some compromises that TriplTek made and all that TriplTek support can tell me is that the T8 has...

    M3Pro H264 vs H265 file sizes identical

I aim to find out. Everything I read so far suggests H.265 only offers reduction in size... I have not read anything to suggest quality is improved outside of the scope I mentioned. DJI support are asking me to send them to videos to examine (one in H.265 and one in H.264), like as it this is...

TriplTek 9 Pro - screen specifications and video playback performance

My TriplTek 8 Pro has a 1600x2560 pixel display (4 Million pixels), known as QHD (short for Quad HD). My 4K video playback is disappointing. slightly laggy with H.264 videos but terrible with H.265 videos. I dont have this issue on my other devices with 2K or HD displays, where the downscaling...

    M3Pro H264 vs H265 file sizes identical

I was puzzled about this very same observation. I take 4K/30FPS/MPEG-4/Normal (8bit) videos with my Mini3Pro and I see that regardless of whether I use H.265/HEVC or the default H.264/AVC there seems no superior compression achieved with H.265. I get 5mins 23seconds footage on a 3.8GB file in...
