Absolutely, I temporarily lost my Mavic Air in Scotland overnight, found it next morning once I’d got a Wi-fi signal to download the maps etc. Anyhow, after, it was a bit sluggish and the gimbal didn’t seem to be as smooth. Contacted DJI and after a few Q’s sent it back for a care refresh...

Nothing wrong with Mavic Air. It’s an excellent bit of kit. I’ve had well over 1.5 miles out of it regularly and only never went further as I chickened out. As highlighted when signal is lost it hovers and RTH so not sure what you’re doing wrong but I doubt it’s the MA drone.

My iPad 4 mini came with a SIM card in it that stops the “no sim”message but it’s a dummy sim and doesn’t provide any cellular access. Purely seems to stop that message and everything else functions great.
