    21 images for horizontal pano?!?!?

21 shots seems to be normal. 7 columns of 3 shots each. Center column with three columns to each side to cover 180 degrees if memory serves me. Give Panovolo (member of forum) a free try. It has worked well for me and it will produce a DNG file -if you shot your original pano in DNG. I have a...

Air 3 Honeymoon in Italy (7 min)

I just want to affirm Dale’s review. Well done!! I will confess that when I first scanned the title I feared that this was about a 7 minute Honeymoon! A quick second look put me at ease. I would like to know what you used to capture the ceilings and vertical cityscapes. What equipment did you...

    PanoVolo 1.7.6 released

Just a note to tell you how pleased I have been using your software. I recently completed a physician friend’s office with multiple local panoramas using PanoVolo. To my surprise he wanted the lobby wall (7.5 x 21 feet) covered by a vinyl wrap. A local professional printing company, Primary...

Dronelink mavic air 2s way points issue

I have used Litchi on my Mavic 2Pro and as I recall my Air 2s. The Litchi flights I believe were loaded onto the drone and executed smoothly. Sadly this capability ended with the Mavic 3 and above. Litchi has an excellent Google earth based flight planning and testing of a mission. Others may...

Small Drone Smashes into Super Scooper Aircraft over Palisades Fire.

The LA times article said the pilot was unaware of the collision! IF that is so, the plane returned to its base and the damage was then observed? Unless the drone was impaled into the wing structure, how would they have located the culprit drone? Where would they have searched if the...

    RC2 vs RC-N2

The clearance reads "Douglas McConnell shall be continuously available for direct contact at (123) 456-7890 by Air Traffic". They expect an answer when they call not a voicemail or a call back. That's my interpretation of that sentence. And you are right, I have never experienced that need. The...

    RC2 vs RC-N2

I've never been called of course. My phone number is directly in the clearance as to how they are to contact me. Landing and returning the call is probably fine (if needed) but the wording is "Douglas McConnell SHALL be continuously available at (123

    RC2 vs RC-N2

An additional reason is if you’re flying with a LAANC clearance as. You MUST be available at the phone for ATC. Managing a call while using the phone as your controller screen could be distracting and the phone cannot be in a “do not disturb” mode while flying.

Can you?? Fly to 5000 feet??

Flying near mountains in California can be very interesting. I once was flying a Bonanza in the Owen’s Valley at about 5000 feet AGL and entered the updraft area of a lenticular cloud formation above me. Up I went! I pulled power but kept the engine at low power to keep it warm, slowed to gear...
