Landing gear for Mini 4 Pro

I don't really see the need, I just hand-launch and hand-land. Takes a bit of practice, but it's much further away from dust and sand than any landing gear can provide.

Question for those who take photos in RAW...

When I teach beginners how to use a camera, I always recommend JPEG. Not because "raw is hard", but to take away the flexibility of correcting mistakes after the fact. It forces them to get the photo right in-camera, and that in turn makes it easier to learn what the different controls do, and...

Question for those who take photos in RAW...

If you don't want to use Adobe software and be stuck to a subscription, I can recommend DxO PureRAW. It works great for the raw files I shoot with my Mini 4 Pro. The DNG files written by my Mini have lots of vignetting, and that's compensated for by the "gain map" stored in the DNG. Not all raw...

Skyfill: software for filling in the sky in spherical panoramas

The skyfill-v1.5-darwin.zip is for macOS, just follow the download link on Skyfill | dr. Sybren There is no tutorial because I don’t own a mac or know how to use one, so I can’t write a tutorial for it.

    360 photo light\dark spots?

PS: I also get the same discolourations with my stitching approach. It's not just regular vignetting, it's in the reddish tint in the sky. I've never seen this before.

    360 photo light\dark spots?

I can recommend editing the raw files to remove the vignette, export to JPEG, and stitch those. That's what I do anyway, with great results if I may say so myself (Panorama). Hugin (https://hugin.sf.net) can analyse the photos, figure out their vignetting parameters, and compensate for them...

Skyfill v1.5 released: performance boost + mirror ball

Hey folks, I just released Skyfill version 1.5. Besides a nice performance boost, it also has a new mirror ball mode. The mirror ball reflects the ground, resulting in a mini planet version of the panorama hanging in the sky. To see what it looks like, check these tulip fields and be sure to...

    Lens not Hasselblad

Yup, that's true. I have a Hasselblad 500c/m, with Carl Zeiss lenses. AFAIK they've never made lenses, at least not for the V-system cameras.

Skyfill v1.2 released: 16-bit colour and AdobeRGB support

Well sure, if you can photograph the clouds you don't needs Skyfill. What software did you use for this?

Skyfill v1.2 released: 16-bit colour and AdobeRGB support

Version v1.2 of Skyfill has been released! The most important improvements are support for 16-bit colour and AdobeRGB. The 16-bit colour support is automatic. Feed Skyfill a 16-bit image, and it’ll output a 16-bit TIFF. For more info, check out Skyfill v1.2 released | dr. Sybren These...
