Yes of course we should care. If we stay silent it sends a message that we are tolerant of this behavior and we would see an increase of copycats. This may affect us law abiding flyers in the future.
However in this forum you'll find a lot of people are okay with this behaviour. I've seen it a...
Yes. Very reliable. In 8 months it still flies great. Negligible degradation of battery life. Original props. A little bit of wear from the cable on the controller (as expected).
If anything, your much more likely to have problems with the app than the hardware (which I haven't).
All is good in...
Yup good job, DJI trying to save our hobby (and themselves, and the industry) from the idiot minority. I'm fine with that.
If a goose can take down an a320 to crash land in the Hudson river a drone could do the same.
There are already idiots flying in nfz's and right next to flight paths. Do I...
Yeah I'd check and clean the sensors and cameras and also check that the cable is in good condition. It's very soft and flimsy and after 7 months with mine im seeing wear already. Try using another cable with the bottom usb port. Atleast that will narrow down the cause of the problem.
It's not that far of a stretch. People are doing this and it unfortunately will continue. There was even a post here a couple of days ago of a video showing a drone very close to the airliner and its flight path.
I didn't notice any difference in flying time. Infact I didn't notice any difference at all with the ac, app or battery before and after upgrading all to the latest.
Flying great as it always did.
If I was a helicopter pilot or passenger on one, I sure as hell wouldn't want to share the airspace these idiots.
Why can't everyone respect the nfz's for *** sake. It's not that hard. To disregard and say it's fine..."the chopper can take the impact" is just as idiotic.
Advocating and giving...
Quad racers have applied it for years with no problems, and also with other products.
Some recreational fliers are starting to use it too. Could be quite useful if you get caught out in the rain, slam it into a bridge or whatever.
Some extra protection won't hurt. It's not exactly a heat sink...
Yes I know they have some coating protection from the elements but they aren't waterproof to the point of being able to submerge it under water and still work fine.
