The other very helpful M2P and M2Z hack from Drone U is turning the Tripod mode switch into an ATTI mode switch on the your smart controller. . You take off in P mode and when you get to your altitude of interest switch to ATTI mode and watch the direction of your drone in the wind drift...
Is that 5 miles round trip or 10 miles outbound? I was not aware that the controller would communicate at that distance. Do you have any Hacks on board to do that? Phenominal distance for an M2P.
If you take off in Sport mode and climb to about 50 feet, you can then switch to Program mode and fly normally. That sensor on the top seems to be used primarily in takeoff. I have also been told you can simply tape over the top sensor and that will work - I have not tried that yet. Let me know...
Here's my 3000 ma version on a M2P - larger drone and more power consumption. Also I included the 2 battery balanced charger system that I use when I am going to fly. Ironically the cooler operating temperatures are better for the whole battery system on the drone. the extra batteries on the drone.
I have been strapping a 3000 ma Graphene LiPo battery on the back of my M2P and M2Z with a velcro strap. Hover tests comparing the standard configuration to the extra battery format produces 50% more hover time but the most surprising thing was that the batteries ran 10C cooler with the extra...
This is the best advice in this thread. The patent system is now "first to file" so all the prior signed documents and illustrations that we used to execute are irrelevant now. I patent medical devices and always lead with a provisional patent as described which is only $130 and can be done by...
If you invest in Marco Polo your searching days will be over. Buy the PGYTech clip for the top of your Mavic 2 (likely for other models as well), velcro the transmitter to the clip. insert your fresh battery, clip it on, turn on the transmitter, and go flying. If you crash on land, your App...
I second the comment of "Jet Skier". I pay State Farm $75 per year, no deductible, insure $6K (4 drones) and have made 1 successful claim for a loss without ability to retrieve, and it is business as usual should I lose another drone. It is hard to beat that coverage - something everyone should...
Hi KG,
My M2Zoom filter is stuck on my drone and rubber gloves are not enough to remove it. Would you have any more of your wrenches for the M2Z that I could use to remove my filter?
Thanks.
Jim in Atlanta.
