Good video by Tom.
Agree with that he should have applied sharpness and distortion fix in post for Mavic 2 Pro.
However, no post can fix that bad sensor read-out in 4K FOV mode. Meaning that only a fraction of the sensor is used in HQ mode. Meaning, one should strongly consider getting the...
You know there should be people with answers to this. Remember the Youtubers that got their test drone before the event was postponed? They would know if the settings changed since then. Or if they experienced problems, causing DJI to postpone. I certainly recall iJustine leaking a pic from her...
My gf got it a couple of weeks ago. Apple had them just a week ago, might still have them. And Komplett is getting almost a hundred pretty soon.
Order somewhere else?
If they actually are ”protecting” by limiting M2P on purpose, I would not think it is to protect the P4P. They don’t care about older products. But they might protect the future P5P.
If they realize that, Crap, the M2P is so darn good, no one is going to get the P5P we spent $$$$$ on R&D to...
If it is an H3 chip I see no other pausible explanation for the lack of 4K FOV other than
1. Something (over-heating?) wrong with Sony image sensor. Q: Why does it work on P4P then?
2. They are actually downgrading the Mavic on purpose. They recently put a cap on shutter speed in Hyperlapse...
I prefer more dynamic range and better light sensitivity from less but larger pixels, yes. Absolutely.
The Zoom has even smaller pixels and therefore has even worse DR and light sensitivity.
But you are right: At least the 5.2K (or whatever it is) sensor is not fully useless. It is great for...
Thanks, didn't know.
I wish Sony wouldn't have crammed in so many pixels on the sensor. If they had only used 4K for the full sensor we would have had larger pixels and full read-out in FOV, probably.
You prefer to keep the 10-bit HQ mode you mean? Other than that, my suggestion have no negatives in it from the modes available as of now. I just want myself and people to be able to choose full 4K in FOV if we want it, and if 8-bit only is the way to do that, then I would like that option.
