Found a fix. Ordered a smart hub off of amazon and it seems to bypass the driver issue on the laptop and the moment I plugged it in...found both the micro SD and the SSD inside the mavic cine. Ran several tests transferring files both to and from the drone's SSD and did not find any issues...
Also wanted to mention that the entire time the drone is plugged into the laptop, the (see photo attached)..not sure the tech name) but where you find your ip address etc, flashes rapidly almost in sequence to the drone navigation lights.

I don't think the Dell is the issue. Mine is a MSI and I also tried it on a ASUS. Both are gaming setups with dedicated video cards and Thunderbolt 4 ports. I will look into getting a docking station...that might be a good temp fix...thanks for the suggestion.
Just got a new PC (not running Windows 11) and cannot get the laptop to find the drives on the Mavic 3 when plugged in. However I can plug the Mavic 3 into an older laptop and it finds both the SSD drive and the microSD drive without issues. Tried it on another new laptop also running...
