Skeptical that millions of taxpayer $$ were expended as a result of this that would not have been otherwise.
Not saying it wasn't, just seems like a lot given the response, hence skeptical.
We also need to remember that the US is no longer a target market for this (or any DJI drone), so their interest in spending much time and effort meeting the needs of US customers is similarly diminished.
