Droning on and on... replied to the thread Mavic Battery life leaderboard.Depends on one's intuition I suppose. It's very intuitive to me. Seems obvious that moving will consume more power than hovering, and therefore the battery is going to deplete more quickly. That's my "intuition". -

That's not what the barometric height data shows. I explained back in post #27 ... although the barometric height continues to show around numbers around 30 ft, the VPS height shows changing height above the water from 20 ft to 10 ft, 14 ft, 19... -
The only way engaging would be 'prudent' is if your life is threatened and you have no other (safe) options.
