As regards your first bolded assertion, balderdash. As a national park ranger with law enforcement authority, I frequently walked up to and engaged visitors -- sometimes because I had suspicions about their activities, sometimes to show the flag...

You know, they had a reason - the guy was flying a drone, and at a public event. I know you were only trying to help him by trying to point out protecting his “rights”, but someone trying to argue back to the officials based on everything...
